Case Management

Our team manages all aspects of each case, adhering strictly to both HUD regulations and your admin plan, keeping records for weekly reports, and following up with your clients for maximum success.

  • Completion of annual recertification, as well as any interims, rent increases, or rent reasonable determinations required for assigned participants

Remote Recertifications

NMA can help lessen the impact by handling your recertifications offsite, saving money for your agency while ensuring you’re still in compliance with HUD regulations.

Our team of highly qualified and technically proficient staff will process recertifications and interims using your policies, procedures, forms, and letters. We’ll enter all information directly into your software system, resulting in a seamless customer experience.

Even though our recertification services are performed remotely, we are always available for on-site status meetings. NMA’s dynamic service solutions allow your agency to access the services that matter the most to you.

We offer three recertification services:

  • Annual recertification: We complete the annual recertification process for assigned files, including communication with the participant to secure all required documentation. From initiating the process 90-120 days before the effective date, to documenting all transactions, we've got you covered. Interims, rent increases, and rent reasonable determinations are included.
  • Annual recertification, processing only: Provide us with fully complete recertification packets, and we process them for you.
  • Interim recertification and rent increase: You send us your interim and rent increase request, and we complete each transaction within 30 days. We communicate with participants and property owners to secure all documentation, determine rent reasonableness, and update your systems with detailed memos.

Our team processes moves and transfers according to your PHA’s standards, including issuing vouchers and processing RTAs.

Portability In/Out

Our team processes both port-in and port-out requests according to your PHA’s standards, including eligibility determination and confirmation, background checks, issuing vouchers, and processing RTAs.

Eligibility Determination

We review applicant documentation to determine program eligibility, following up as needed to obtain any missing documents.

New Admissions Leasing

From voucher issuance through lease-up, we conduct all leasing activities, including processing RTAs and executing HAP contracts and lease agreements. We use your agency’s briefing platform, or, if you don’t have one, we provide online briefings for an additional charge. 

Call Center

Our trained customer service professionals respond directly to general complaints and questions on your behalf. We provide a direct line for your clients to call.
